CERTIFICATION | Applicant must have appropriate NYS Certification as a School District Administrator |
REQUIREMENTS | -
Masters Degree from accredited Institution with special training or experience in ENL, Bilingual and Dual Language Education; -
Minimum of five years of successful and effective full-time teaching or school-based instructional experience in ENL, Bilingual and/or Dual Language Education -
A minimum of three years of school based or district administrative and supervisory experience. |
LOCATION | Bilingual, ENL & World Languages Department |
DUTIES | -
Assist in the direction, supervision, and management of ENL programs, staff, and services to meet scholar needs. -
Oversight and growth related to student performance goals -
Partner with district staff and building leaders to align goals to district priorities and ensure a cohesive approach to addressing scholar needs -
Evaluate the impact (through an equity lens) of existing systems and structures have on scholar achievement. -
Assist the Director in working with families and staff to promote and encourage understanding of CR-Part 154 regulations. -
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Bilingual, ENL, & World Languages and the Superintendent of Schools. |
SALARY | Pursuant to the Middletown School Administrators Association (MSAA) Contract |
FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE Candidates must submit to fingerprint clearance. |
