Job Description

EFFECTIVE DATE	2025-2026 School Year
POSITION	Groundskeeper
STATUS	This position will be filled according to the Civil Service rules by a probational appointment.
REQUIREMENTS	Minimum requirements are Graduation from High School or possession of a GED and at least one (1) years of experience in building or grounds maintenance work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES	Working knowledge of grounds maintenance procedures and practices Ability to operate power equipment Willingness to work outdoors in all kinds of weather Maintain lawns, flowerbeds, walkways, and roadways Remove snow using hand power equipment and shovels Mark and maintain athletic fields  Customary duties associated with the position
SCHEDULE	Tuesday-Saturday, 10am to 6:30pm
SALARY	As Per Contract
