NOTICE OF ANTICIPATED VACANCY

EFFECTIVE DATE	2026-2027 School Year
POSITION	Anticipated School Social Worker Universal Prekindergarten (UPK)
STATUS	Probationary
CERTIFICATION	Applicable NYS Certification required
LOCATION	District Wide
DUTIES	Provide comprehensive school social work services with the use of social emotional learning resources Proactively engage and collaborate with scholars, educators, parents, and guardians Conduct home visits and support scholars and families in accessing appropriate community resources Travel will be required within the district and community-based organizations  Review scholar records and attend and CSE/CPSE meetings when necessary Customary duties associated with the position
SALARY	Pursuant to the Middletown Teachers Association (MTA) Contract
FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE: Candidates must submit to fingerprint clearance.
