NOTICE OF VACANCY

EFFECTIVE DATE	2024-2025 School Year
POSITION	Dean of Students
STATUS	Probationary
REQUIREMENTS	Successful candidate will have: A highly qualified leader, with NYS SBL certification  Excellent interpersonal skills  Effective communicator (both written and oral)  Knowledgeable and attentive to scholar, family, and school community needs   Demonstrated leadership experience  Preferred background in counseling or related experience
LOCATION	Middletown High School
DUTIES	Manage student supervision issues and implement school behavioral expectations. Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of student restorative behavior plans.   Assist in supervising and monitoring school facilities. Provide supervision at extra-curricular and athletic events. Compile, analyze, and share student discipline data regularly, and use that data to make decisions. Customary duties associated with the position
SALARY	Pursuant to the Middletown School Administrators Association (MSAA) Contract
FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE Candidates must submit to fingerprint clearance.
