POSITION 

Groundskeeper

STATUS

This position will be filled according to the Civil Service rules by a probational appointment. 

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirements are Graduation from High School or possession of a GED and at least one (1) years of experience in building or grounds maintenance work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working knowledge of grounds maintenance procedures and practices
  • Ability to operate power equipment
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all kinds of weather
  • Maintain lawns, flowerbeds, walkways, and roadways
  • Remove snow using hand power equipment and shovels
  • Mark and maintain athletic fields 
  • Customary duties associated with the position 

SCHEDULE

Tuesday-Saturday, 10am to 6:30pm

SALARY

 As Per Contract
