Possession of a valid driver’s license at the time of appointment is required. | | LOCATION | Food and Nutrition Services | | DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | - Receive deliveries in accordance with established procedures.
- Store food and supplies in accordance with established procedures.
- Deliver food and supplies, as ordered, to appropriate storage area in schools. Notify school food service personnel of shortages and/or backorders in their deliveries.
- Assure that the warehouse is kept clean, and meets all fire, OSHA, and Department of Health standards.
- Assume responsibility for checking that all delivery vehicles and refrigeration units are kept in clean, safe, working condition, and notify the appropriate authority when repairs and/or maintenance are needed.
- Operate food service delivery vehicles.
- Inventories and assists in the storage and care of food, supplies and equipment.
- Perform related duties as required.
